Guidelines for Parents
Welcome to the admission process of Gurukul Public School. To ensure a smooth and efficient registration, please adhere to the following guidelines.
Registration Process
- Complete and Legible Forms: Ensure all registration forms are fully completed and legible. Forms that are incomplete or illegible, or that lack required photographs, will not be processed.
- Implication of Registration: Please note that registration does not guarantee admission. Admission is contingent upon observation, interaction, and the availability of seats.
Required Documents for Registration
The following documents must be submitted to the school office at the time of registration:
1. Completed and Signed Registration Form
2. Photographs:

- Six (6) passport-size color photographs of the student.
- One (1) passport-size color photograph of the mother.
- One (1) passport-size color photograph of the father.
- One (1) formal studio post-card-size color photograph of the parents with the child centered.
- Proof of Date of Birth:
- A photocopy of the birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation or any other competent authority.
- Birth certificates issued by doctors, nursing homes, or hospitals will not be accepted.
- Parent Documents:
- A photocopy of the PAN card of either parent.
- A photocopy of the Aadhar card of the student and both parents.
- Other Documents:
- Affidavit cum Undertaking.
- Photocopy of the previous year’s or last exam mark sheet (if applicable).
- Valid documents supporting SC/ST/OBC status, if applicable.
- Original Transfer Certificate (T.C.) must be submitted before the session starts or by the end of April 2025.
Important Instructions
- Parent Participation: Parents are strongly encouraged to complete the registration form themselves. If guardians fill the form, it must be clearly indicated, and the same guardian’s signature must be endorsed in the almanac if the child is admitted.
- Accuracy of Date of Birth: Ensure that the date of birth on the registration form matches the date on the original birth certificate.
- Submission of Transfer Certificate (T.C.):
- The T.C. with ‘passed’ or ‘promoted’ status must be submitted in time (before the session begins in April 2025 or by the end of April 2025), otherwise, the admission will be canceled.
- For admissions occurring after the session has started (due to transfers or relocations), the T.C. must be submitted within 15 days of admission. No extensions will be granted, and failure to submit the T.C. within the stipulated time will result in forfeiture of the admission and no refund will be provided.
Eligibility and Seat Availability
- Admissions are open from Pre-Nursery to Class 8, subject to seat availability.
